Rosa Caldas has over 30 years experience managing large enterprise-level Information Technology (IT) projects. Her professional career began implementing software development projects in the Caribbean region. For more than 20 years, Rosa has been supporting the US Federal Government developing solutions that have been deployed worldwide, and has been training and building capacity for missions and their implementing partners in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Middle East.
Rosa’s strong Engineering background combined with her passion for International Development has contributed to her success delivering solutions internationally. One of Rosa’s strengths is her keen ability to manage very culturally diverse work teams. Her success managing diversity has been featured in the ComputerWorld magazine.
Rosa is a member of the American Council of Technology (ACT)/Industry Advisory Council (IAC) Fellows Program, Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association (AFCEA), Women in Technology (WIT), among others.
A native of the Dominican Republic, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Systems Engineering in the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic, and her Masters of Science in Information Systems in Kingston University in the United Kingdom (UK).
